Job Title: Systems Test EngineerLocation: Tucson, AZ 85755 (Onsite)Employment Type: W2 Contract, 18 Month Contract with possibility for extensionsPay Rate: $50.00 – $60.00/hour (based on experience)Role Overview:BEPC is seeking a highly skilled Systems Test Engineer to support systems integration and testing activities within a regulated medical device environment. This role partners closely with systems engineering teams to identify software and hardware vulnerabilities, develop testing methodologies, and execute hands-on integration and validation activities.The ideal candidate has strong experience in test method development, troubleshooting complex systems, and analyzing digital sensor outputs in highly regulated environments.Key Responsibilities:Partner with systems engineering teams to identify software and hardware vulnerabilitiesSupport systems integration and testing activitiesDevelop and execute test methods, validation protocols, and Design of Experiments (DoE)Analyze digital sensor outputs and performance dataDevelop and maintain test beds and testing environmentsPerform hands-on troubleshooting and root cause analysis of system issuesCreate and manage comprehensive testing plansExecute system-level and integration testing protocolsAuthor detailed technical reports and documentationManage the defect lifecycle, including collection, documentation, tracking, and reportingUtilize Python scripting for data analysis and automation activitiesCollaborate with cross-functional engineering and development teams to support project goalsQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Software Engineering, or related disciplineMinimum of 8 years of engineering and testing experienceStrong experience with:Test Method Validation (TMV)Design of Experiments (DoE)Systems Integration TestingTroubleshooting complex systemsTechnical reporting and documentationProficiency with Python scripting and data analysisExperience developing and executing testing strategies in regulated environmentsStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skillsPreferred Qualifications:Experience in FDA or FAA regulated environmentsMedical device industry experience strongly preferredExperience with sensor systems and digital output analysisFamiliarity with hardware/software integration testingExperience supporting defect tracking and validation processesWork Environment:Fully onsite role in a collaborative engineering and testing environmentHands-on work with integrated hardware and software systemsCross-functional interaction with engineering, quality, and development teamsAbout BEPC:BEPC Inc., founded in 2007, is a 100% employee-owned company providing top-tier consulting and staffing solutions across industries like technology, engineering, manufacturing, and project management.
