Junior Demand Planner
Location: Portland, OR (Hybrid in office 3-days/week)
Job Summary
The Demand Planner supports the demand planning process by assisting with forecasting, inventory monitoring, and production planning activities. This role partners closely with the Demand Planning Manager and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate data, timely reporting, and strong customer service levels. The position is ideal for an early-career professional seeking to build skills in forecasting and supply chain planning.
Essential Job Functions
Assist in preparing monthly demand forecasts for the assigned Categories using historical sales and order data
Support analysis of historical sales, trends, and promotions to inform forecast inputs
Incorporate inputs from Sales, Marketing, and Product teams into demand plans
Support the process for the forecast on new products with analysis of previous similar products
Participate in process improvement initiatives and training opportunities
Prepare inventory reports including availability, slow movers and closeouts
Assist in creating dashboards and planning reports for management review

Comfortable working in Excel and spreadsheet-based analysis.
Basic understanding of demand planning, inventory management, or supply chain concepts.

Organized, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, finance, analytics, operations, or related field preferred.
0–2 years' experience in supply chain, planning, operations, inventory, or data analysis roles.
Internship or co-op experience in manufacturing, operations, or planning environments is a plus.
Exposure to ERP/MRP systems preferred but not required.
