Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Hearing Instrument Specialist based in Macon, GA. The specialist will assist clients by conducting audiological evaluations to determine their hearing needs, recommending appropriate hearing aid solutions, and providing ongoing support for hearing instruments. The role also includes fitting and programming devices, educating patients on their proper usage, and delivering outstanding customer service to ensure client satisfaction and improved hearing health. Qualifications Proficiency in audiological practices, including conducting hearing tests and audiometry.Ability to recommend and program hearing instruments based on individual needs and perform adjustments as required.Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and their families.Knowledge of speech and sound processing relevant to audiology and hearing care practices.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.State licensure or certification as a Hearing Instrument Specialist (or eligibility to obtain).Experience in the hearing care or audiology industry is preferred but not required.Empathy, patience, and a genuine commitment to improving the lives of individuals with hearing loss.
