Accounting Manager - Global Multi-Media Entertainment Sports Firm

About the Company: We're working with a high growth Global Multi-Media Firm in the Music, Entertainment, Sports Industry that has a fantastic young culture and a ton of upward mobility.About the Role: They are seeking a Accounting Manager to help lead a division and manage a small team. Directly reporting to head of division working with Executives, COO, Head of Finance, and Entertainment Production team.Responsibilities: Manage Balance Sheet, Cash Flow for Month/Quarter/Year-End accounting close and financial reportsResponsible for Revenue, Margins and Cost tracking metrics discussed with stakeholders across the businessOwner of cash management function including budgeting and forecast, monitor and track cash flow reports while identifying and evaluating variancesPreparation of budgeting, forecasting, and planning for monthly, yearly, and long-term reportingManage the creation of financial models for Revenue forecasting, and analyze key performance indicatorsDrive and develop financial metrics to track progress and performance across the company's financial operationsReview customer invoicing processes and contractual agreements to reconcile revenueReview payroll, fixed assets, deprecation schedulesPerform key elements of the financial cycle and supporting subsidiary processesManage detailed variance and fluctuation analysesSupervises accounting staffAssists in the annual audit and sales taxationQualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is a must, CPA preferred. 6+ years accounting experience out of Public Accounting or Private Accounting team is a plus, including media production experience a plus. Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and Revenue Recognition is needed. In depth experience working with general ledger and financial analysis, including journal entries and doing detailed account analyses.
