Kids’ Zone is a family-owned Christian childcare center with locations in Georgetown and Jarrell. Job responsibilities: - Ensure daily care and safety of children by following all childcare licensing guidelines as well as school policies and procedures - Provide a positive and nurturing environment for the children - Plan and implement weekly curriculum with co teacher. - Daily communication with families, including completing daily activity reports - Maintain a clean and organized classroom - Attend all required staff meetings, school functions, and professional development Job Qualifications - Energetic, nurturing, positive, and child-friendly personality - Strong attendance habits - Must be 18 years of age and a high school graduate/GED holder for full time positions. If applying for part time, must be currently enrolled or previously enrolled in a child development course and at least 16 years years of age. - Must have reliable transportation to work. - Must pass all state required background checks. - Must be able to lift 35 pounds consistently throughout the workday for diaper changes and reassurance of children - Ability to work in a team environment - Strong communication skills needed - Experience in childcare is a plus We have many locations opening soon-train now, opportunities to transfer later.
