Beyond direct patient care, this is a unique leadership opportunity: you will play a central role in building, standardizing, and expanding our SLP service line across the company while upholding our high standards for clinical excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Care & DocumentationConduct comprehensive evaluations and deliver evidence-based treatments for speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.Develop individualized, measurable treatment plans and provide ongoing education to patients and their families.Complete accurate EMR documentation (Prompt), including SOAP notes, evaluations, and discharge summaries, by midnight on the day of service.Generate and submit a Plan of Care (POC) with evaluations/progress notes, ensuring they are faxed to referring physicians for signature.Coordinate seamlessly with our interdisciplinary team, including physicians, case managers, and attorneys. Program Leadership & Practice GrowthSpearhead the development and expansion of the SLP service line, establishing clinical guidelines, workflows, and best-practice protocols.Actively support marketing and growth initiatives, building strong relationships with community partners and referral sources.Identify new referral streams and assist with community outreach, social media, and educational content.Mentor, train, and support the onboarding of future SLP staff to foster a culture of continuous learning. Operations & ComplianceManage your treatment schedule, including adherence to clinic protocols for cancellations and no-show fees.Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality at all times.Provide unbiased, culturally sensitive, and highly professional care to all patients. Required QualificationsEducation: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.Licensure: Active Michigan Speech-Language Pathologist license.Experience: Proven clinical experience with strong knowledge of targeted disorders and evidence-based treatments.Skills: Excellent communication, time-management, and tech proficiency (EMR systems, Google Workspace, telehealth platforms).
