Job DescriptionOverviewSOSi is seeking a Financial Systems Analyst to join our team in Reston, VA. The Financial Systems Analyst will develop Cognos BI reports, assist in administering Cognos BI/Analytics, Costpoint, IBM TM1 and Chrome River. The Financial Systems Analyst will also assist in routine system maintenance, system upgrades, and new system implementations. This position requires strong analytic skills as well as Microsoft SQL scripting skills combined with practical experience and an understanding of Costpoint architecture and government accounting.** Essential Job Duties**Maintain and develop Cognos Bi reports utilizing Report Studio.Maintain Cognos users and perform routine Cognos backupsAdminister Costpoint 8.2., Cognos BI 10.2.2/Analytics, Cognos TM1 and Chrome RiverAssist the Corporate IT department in system maintenance, upgrades, improvements and implementationsProvide end-user functional support/troubleshooting and training for key areas of all financial systemMonitor, manage, and maintain system-generated jobs and tasks across all financial systems to ensure accuracy, functionality, and timely executionIdentify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to Revenue, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), Labor, and Projects within the Costpoint system, including system failures or anomalies.Diagnose and resolve system failures or issues related to Revenue, Labor, Costs, Burdens, or other anomalies with the IBM TM1 system.Qualifications:Qualifications** Minimum Requirements**Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Information Technology, or related field.Minimum five+ years of experience in a government contracting environment.Minimum two+ years of Costpoint experience.In-depth knowledge of database structures and functional modules, including Accounts Payable (AP), Projects, General Ledger (GL), and Subcontractor Management.Strong understanding of U.S. Government IT control environment requirements, including compliance with industry standards and best practices.Proven ability to plan, execute, and deliver projects within established timelines.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and initiatives effectively in a dynamic environment.Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with a high level of competency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to evaluate and resolve complex system or operational issues.Collaborative team player capable of working with diverse, distributed teams across locations.Background in Government Contracting with knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and related compliance requirements is preferred but not required.Additional InformationWork EnvironmentHybrid work schedule with 2 days in office and 3 days of remote work.Requires periods of non-traditional hours including consecutive nights or weekends when necessary.May require ability to lift/and or move objects or packages of up to 25 lbs.Working at SOSiAll interested individuals will receive consideration and will not be discriminated against for any reason.Compensation:$70,562-$70,562 per year
