Inpatient Surgical Critical Care ICU role within a Level I Trauma Center. Manage high-acuity patients including complex trauma, transplant, vascular, general surgery, neurosurgery, and interventional radiology cases. Work within a multidisciplinary critical care team in a fast-paced academic environment. Ideal for Acute Care Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants with ICU experience. Minimum 1-2 years of recent critical care APP experience required. Must be comfortable independently managing ICU patients on night shift. Responsibilities include ventilator management, resuscitation, and critical care procedures within APP scope. Collaborative practice model with established physician oversight and ICU protocols.
