We place high value on training and professional development, encouraging you to broaden and strengthen your unique skill sets so you can fully realize your potential.Job DescriptionPerformance Contracting is seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer for its PCI Portland 553 operations based in Portland, OR.Job Responsibilities IncludePerform labor control on assigned projects, including setup and maintenancePrepare RFI’s and submittalsQuantitative takeoffs to verify estimates, order materials, and price change ordersCreate and implement job schedules and coordinate with field supervisors and foremenCreate and manage punch lists and job closeout documentationSupport the Quality Control measures outlined in the QA/QC programAssist in other duties as assigned This position is safety-sensitive.Basic RequirementsMust have at least 4-7 years’ experience managing construction projectsProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products (e.g., Excel, Word, etc.)Possess a clear understanding of how to read and interpret specifications and drawingsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work effectively in a team environmentAbility to learn new skills by engaging in the technical job functions and applying new skills as they’re learnedStrong customer service skills and relationship-building abilitiesAbility to prioritize and multitask while handling multiple projects concurrently Motivated self-starter with strong work ethic and a willingness to take initiativeWorks well under pressure and deadlinesPossess critical-thinking and problem-solving skillsPreferred RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, or related disciplineExperience managing specialty scopes of constructionOSHA certificationLocal to Portland metro areaWilling to travel or relocate based on project needsThis role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.BenefitsAt Performance Contracting, our employees are our greatest asset.
