Nuclear Medicine Tech Location: Mission Viejo, CA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $3,215 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 6/2/2026 About the Position Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 hours (08:00 - 18:30) Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience accepted with 6 months of PET experience required. License: California license required. Certifications: ARRT(N) or NMTCB with California license, BLS. Must-Have: Required NM certification and PET experience. Description: This position primarily involves working in PET, but may require floating to Nuclear Medicine if needed. Candidates must be open to taking call post-shift and rotating weekends. Experience with Epic software is highly preferred. Candidates should have experience with Siemens equipment. Weekend coverage may exceed every other weekend to accommodate unit needs. Scheduling requests due to outside employment are not considered. All requested time off should be included at the time of submission. The average daily PET/CT cases handled are 6-7, with an average of 9 general Nuclear studies per day. The position requires licensed NMT with PET special procedures experience. Daily tasks include performing protocol-driven scans and maintaining patient safety and support. Travelers are expected to float between facilities and refusal to float may result in termination of assignment. Candidates must be prepared to work three out of five major holidays. References and prior experience will be checked during the compliance process. Communication devices required for duties will be supplied if needed, and any related costs must be submitted for reimbursement. Modules are non-billable and average 16 hours of time spent.
