Position Summary: Works under direct supervision to complete the hydro testing of manufactured products within established procedures.Job DescriptionOperates hydro test and may read chart recorder to pressure test vessels and pipingHydro test specific pressures retaining itemsWorks with exceptional safety hazards at all timesMust be able to work with the team in developing improved work processes for the departmentRequired TestNonePreferred Education And ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent or equal combination of education and experienceTwo (2) years of related experience and/or trainingSome knowledge of A.N.S.I. ratings, flange, bolts, and gasket sizesPhysical StrainLifting up to 50 pounds with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 30 poundsBending, squatting, climbing, pulling, stooping, twisting, reaching, working at elevated heightsMust be able to work under pressureMust meet all OSHA regulations regarding hydro testing
