We’re looking for a skilled Water Resources Engineer to support hydrology, hydraulics, stormwater, and drainage design work on an as-needed, remote basis. About the Role Part-time • Remote • Flexible Excellent pay package You'll support stormwater, H&H modeling, watershed analysis, drainage, utility, and stream restoration tasks using industry-standard modeling tools and CAD/GIS platforms. What You’ll Do Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling (HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, TR-20, TR-55, SWMM, GISHydro) Design stormwater management systems, ESD/BMPs, storm drains, culverts, and roadway drainage Conduct scour evaluation, bridge/culvert hydraulics, runoff modeling, and flood analysis Prepare drainage reports, H&H studies, stormwater design documents, and E&S plans Support site grading, channel restoration, environmental site design, and watershed assessments Use Civil 3D, AutoCAD, MicroStation, and GIS tools Contribute to high-quality engineering deliverables for a growing Maryland firm What You Bring BS or MS in Civil/Water Resources Engineering Experience in hydrology/hydraulics, stormwater, drainage, or watershed modeling Proficiency with HEC-RAS, TR-20, TR-55, StormCAD, SWMM, HY-8, or related tools Experience with Civil 3D, AutoCAD, MicroStation, or GIS Strong technical writing and analytical ability PE preferred (any state); E&S certifications a plus Why Bengal Engineers LLC?
