Registered Dental Hygienist

Then we want to meet you!!! The Practice: We are a busy, well-established, private periodontal practice located conveniently in SE Portland, and right on the TriMet bus line. Our long-time practice draws patients from all over the metro area. Our commitment to excellence and quality dental care keeps them returning, and makes them the best patients in Portland! We work for a spectacular periodontist and enjoy a fun and friendly working environment with our co-workers! The Position: We are seeking a talented dental hygienist to join our wonderful SE Portland periodontal practice! We see patients Tues-Friday, with Friday being a 1/2 day. This position would begin as part time, and will expand to full time within the next few months. If you're only interested in part time, we can discuss that too. Your day would be a variety of perio maintenance, perhaps an exam, and maybe an SRP. This is not an SRP-heavy position at all. Average days are 5-6 patients, with an average of 75 minutes per patient scheduled. The right person for our dental hygienist position will be a self-starter, friendly, enjoy working with periodontal patients, helpful around the office, possess an upbeat "can-do" attitude, a desire to strive for excellence, and a willingness to provide patients with the best experience possible. Reliability is also a must! The Prerequisites: * 1 year dental hygienist experience is preferred, but we welcome new grads to apply! * Current Oregon hygiene license, x-ray, local anesthesia, nitrous oxide certification, and CPR certification is required. * Digital x-ray experience preferred. * Dental software proficiency is highly preferred. * Candidate must pass a pre-employment background check upon receiving a job offer.
