We are seeking an ambitious and motivated Associate Attorney to join our litigation team. Associates at Cole Law Group are given significant responsibility early in their careers and work closely with experienced litigators on a broad range of civil litigation matters from case inception through resolution.Successful candidates will demonstrate strong analytical and communication skills, professionalism, initiative, and a commitment to delivering exceptional client service.Key ResponsibilitiesDraft pleadings, motions, memoranda, correspondence, and other litigation-related documentsConduct legal research and assist with development of case strategyHandle written discovery, including drafting requests and responsesAssist with and participate in hearings, depositions, mediations, and trial preparationCommunicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and expertsManage case deadlines, litigation calendars, and client communicationsAttend and conduct procedural and administrative hearings as appropriateMaintain organized and accurate case files using firm technology and practice management systemsSupport senior attorneys in all phases of litigation and case managementPreferred QualificationsWe are particularly interested in candidates who demonstrate:0–5 years of litigation experience preferredStrong analytical, research, and legal writing skillsPrior litigation experience or demonstrated interest in litigation through Moot Court, Trial Advocacy, Law Review/Law Journal, internships, clerkships, or similar experienceExcellent verbal and written communication abilitiesProfessionalism, initiative, sound judgment, and strong attention to detailAbility to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environmentStrong organizational and time-management skillsProficiency with legal research platforms such as Lexis or WestlawComfort with modern legal technology and practice management softwareTennessee law license, or eligibility to obtain Tennessee licensure within six (6) months of hireWhat We OfferMeaningful courtroom and litigation experienceDirect mentorship from experienced litigatorsEarly responsibility and substantial client interactionOpportunities to participate in hearings, depositions, motion practice, mediations, and trial preparationCollaborative, professional, and growth-oriented office cultureModern legal technology and support systemsContinuing legal education and professional development supportClear opportunities for long-term advancement within the firmCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive compensation commensurate with experience and qualificationsExpected salary range: $85,000 – $140,000+ annually, depending on experiencePerformance and advancement opportunities401(k) with employer matchingHealth Savings Account (HSA) with employer contribution/matchingHealth, dental, and vision insurancePaid time offParental leaveCLE and professional development supportWork Environment & ScheduleFull-time, in-person position based in Brentwood, TennesseeMonday through Friday during standard business hoursCandidates must have a reliable commute or plan to relocate prior to start dateTo ApplyPlease submit the following materials:Cover letterResumeLegal writing sampleEqual Opportunity EmployerCole Law Group, P.C. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
