HUMAN RESOURCES BUSINESS PARTNERAtlanta, GAHybridTHE RUNDOWNPlayfly Sports is looking for a Senior Human Resources Business Partner (Sr. HRBP) to join our team in Atlanta, GA.Reporting directly to the Head of People, the Sr. HRBP will serve as a strategic partner to leaders and employees across the Playfly Sports Properties (PSP) division. This role will provide guidance and leadership on employee relations, performance management, talent development, organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, and change management initiatives while helping leaders build high-performing teams and achieve business objectives. In addition, the Sr. HRBP will support key people initiatives, including employee recognition, mentoring, diversity, equity, and inclusion programs, and employee engagement efforts. This role will also partner with leadership and stakeholders to support organizational growth, integration activities, and workforce transitions associated with mergers and acquisitions.The ideal candidate brings strong HR Business Partner experience, exceptional relationship-building skills, and the ability to influence leaders at all levels of the organization. Experience supporting collegiate athletics, university environments, and/or organizations with Title IX considerations is strongly preferred.What You’ll AccomplishPartner with leadership to uncover and address training and development gapsConduct weekly/monthly meetings with respective business units/locationsConsult with management, providing HR guidance when appropriateAssess training and development needs with the goal of determining the appropriate delivery method (i.e., self-paced training, Human Resources Business Partner led training, securing outside vendor assistance)Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to managers (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, and disciplinary actions)Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retentionSupport design and implementation of succession planning and key talent review meetings and processes across the company; identify or create tools and processes for assessing and developing talentEmployee recognition and engagement programsAssist with investigating employee complaintsAssist with performance management processes and identify training and coachingAssist with HR policy development and provide policy guidance and interpretationAssist with employee communications and employee supportAssist Head of Human Resources and Sr. Human Resources Business Partner with any other HR tasksOther job-related duties as assignedWhat You’ll BringBachelor’s degree requiredSHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR) credential strongly preferredMinimum of 5-8 years’ experience in an HRBP role, with an emphasis on learning and development and employee relationsWorking knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, sports industry experience is a plusExperience working with LMS HRIS knowledge and experience preferredExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent interpersonal skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to act with integrity and confidentialityExcellent time management skillsTravel, Lifting, Physical RequirementsSedentary role which operates in an office environmentOccasional travel may be requiredWhat We DoPlayfly Sports is the full-service, leading sports marketing and media company that enables brands to engage with sports fans on a local, regional, and national level through scaled linear, digital, and experiential assets.
