Power Verification Engineer
Job Title: Power Verification Engineer Location: Redmond, WA (Onsite) Duration: Duration: 12 Months (Potential extensions/conversion) We are looking for a Power Verification Engineer to support power validation for cutting-edge consumer electronics / wearable devices. This role sits at the intersection of hardware, firmware, and software, driving power efficiency from early concept through production. You will play a key role in defining power measurement methodologies, building validation infrastructure, and ensuring products meet strict power KPIs. Must-Have SkillsBachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience 3+ years of experience validating power subsystems for consumer devices Working knowledge of Bucks, Boost, LDOs, Load Switches, Fuel Gauge, SoC power, etc. Basic understanding of Android OS, Linux kernel, and SoC power architecture Familiarity with communication protocols - I2C, SPI, UART Experience defining validation plans for power subsystems Experience capturing power consumption data under different use cases Experience using lab equipment (multimeters, power supplies, loads, oscilloscopes, data acquisition units) 3+ years of experience writing scripts in Python/LabView Nice-to-have SkillsExperience with Qualcomm chipsets and Qualcomm SOC Deeper understanding of SOC power architecture Worked on consumer electronic devices ResponsibilitiesValidate and characterize power subsystems from proof-of-concept to production Bring up, debug, and validate power circuitry on prototype hardware Develop and maintain automation frameworks for power measurement and testing Execute power validation test cases and analyze results Capture and analyze power consumption data across various use cases Debug power issues in collaboration with hardware, firmware, and software teams Support root cause analysis for power, SoC, and memory-related issues Maintain validation documentation including test plans, reports, and procedures Use bug tracking systems to document and track issues
