Patient ratios depend on acuity and census ranges from 1:4-5.The Medical PCU team responds to the Rapid Response Team calls in a fast and efficient manner.This unit has an LPN Model and works together in a high energized family-oriented team alongside the rest of our whole team for best patient care outcomes.Progressive Care serves all medical conditions within a well-equipped and spacious unit featuring computerized documentation technology.Floating may be required between PCU and ICU units based on census.Schedule: Full-Time - Nights - 645p-715a - 3/12s - rotating weekends and holidaysJob Description:* Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors of patients.* Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care, regularly evaluating and revising these plans as necessary.* Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols, and monitor for adverse reactions.* Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies to promote understanding and compliance.* Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.Education:* Associate's of Nursing [Required]* Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]Work Experience:* 1+ acute care hospital setting [Preferred]Licenses and Certifications:* Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]* Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]Physical Requirements: (Please click the link below to view work requirements)Physical Requirements - https://tinyurl.com/49cf4xnfPay Range:$31.53 - $52.24This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
