Company DescriptionChip City opened its first store in 2017 in Astoria, Queens. Chip City is known for its delicious chewy on the outside and gooey on the inside cookies. We have over 50 flavors of cookies with a variety of classic, seasonal, dairy-free, and specialty flavors. We continue to develop and introduce new delicious flavors. We offer a weekly rotating menu with 9 flavors available to purchase. Ever since the opening of our first location in Astoria we have grown rapidly, currently with many locations throughout the United States of America. Chip City is inspired by nostalgic flavors that represent childhood with cookies inspired by iconic treats; hot fudge sundae, cinnamon roll, rainbow cake, baklava and much more. The Outside Sales & Catering Manager will drive catering and bulk order revenue by building relationships with local businesses, B2B organizations, and community partners. This role focuses on proactive outreach, account development, and creating repeat catering opportunities across the local market. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, outgoing, and comfortable spending time in the field prospecting new clients, managing existing relationships, and representing the Chip City brand within the community.Primary Responsibilities:Identify and prospect new catering opportunities across the local marketBuild relationships with businesses, offices, schools, healthcare organizations, and event plannersGenerate bulk order and catering opportunities for meetings, events, holidays, and corporate giftingDevelop partnerships with:Corporate offices and coworking spacesUniversities and schoolsHospitals and healthcare facilitiesReal estate and property management companiesEvent venues, festivals, and community organizationsCommunity Partnerships & Local MarketingRepresent Chip City at local networking events, community activations, and business gatheringsBuild strategic partnerships with local businesses and organizationsCoordinate sampling opportunities to introduce Chip City products to potential clientsWork closely with store leadership to promote catering offerings in the local marketSupport seasonal campaigns including holiday gifting, corporate appreciation, and large event ordersAccount Management & Client ExperienceServe as the primary point of contact for catering clientsManage the entire sales process from prospecting to order executionPrepare proposals, coordinate large orders, and ensure smooth delivery or pickup logisticsMaintain strong client relationships to drive repeat business and referralsEnsure every catering experience reflects the Chip City brand and quality standardsSales Operations & Pipeline ManagementTrack outreach activity, leads, and opportunities using CRM or internal sales systemsMaintain a strong and active pipeline of prospective catering clientsProvide accurate sales forecasting and performance reportingContinuously identify new sales opportunities and growth channels within the marketRequired Skills & Experience:3–7+ years of sales, catering, hospitality, or business development experienceProven success in outside sales, B2B sales, or account managementExperience selling catering, food service, events, or hospitality services is highly preferredStrong local networking skills and ability to build long-term relationshipsHighly proactive with a hunter mentalityExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsComfortable with cold outreach, networking, and in-person relationship buildingStrong organization and time managementResults-driven with a focus on revenue growthPassion for hospitality and customer experienceTechnical Skills:CRM: Salesforce, HubSpot, ZohoCatering Platforms: EzCaterPOS Systems: Square, ShopifySales Tools: LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfoData & Reporting: Excel, Google Sheets, sales forecasting dashboardsMarketing Tools: Mailchimp, Constant ContactProductivity: Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Slack, TeamsKPIs / Outcomes:Catering Revenue Growth - Consistently achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly catering and bulk order revenue targets.New Corporate Account Acquisition - Develop new B2B relationships with local offices, schools, healthcare organizations, and event partners to expand the catering client base.Client Retention & Repeat Orders - Build long-term relationships that drive repeat catering business and increase average order value through upselling and corporate gifting opportunitiesSalary Range: $65,000–$72,000 plus commission
