Coordinates the activities of the unit and directs, organizes, and assigns work to the nursing staff. Assesses, monitors, and educates the nursing staff on patient care. The Charge Nurse delegates, coordinates and readjusts patient assignments. Consistent with the direction from the Clinical Staff Manager, works to enhance the throughput, quality and customer service in his/her area.
