Clinician I will be responsible for patient caseload and will provide group, individual, and family therapy. Clinician I will conduct psychosocial and bio-psychosocial assessments. Clinician I will collaborate with the Treatment Team to formulate the Master Treatment Plan and assist in coordinating discharge planning. The Clinician I has primary responsibility for maintaining communication with the family, referral source, and other service providers as needed.Core Job DutiesProvides excellent individual, family, and group therapy to assigned patients following program curriculum provided by Clinical DirectorCompletes and ensures appropriate sign-off of all required documentation ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures, state regulations, Joint Commission standards, and Medical Needs Criteria. This includes the following documents:Biopsychosocial Assessment and Integrated Summary (72 hours)Comprehensive Problem ListIntegrated Master Treatment Plan and Updates (24-72 hours based on payer)ASAMs (24 hours, based on state standards)Individual, family, and group therapy session notes (24 hours)Discharge Summary (72 hours)Uses substance abuse and co-occurring therapeutic interventions and de-escalation techniques to assist patients with accomplishing all treatment plan goals and objectives and successfully complete treatmentAssesses patient for substance use disorders, risk to self or others, and co-occurring mental health disordersUses therapeutic interventions to assist patients with accomplishing all treatment plan goals and objectives and successfully complete treatmentManages aftercare recommendations and support that will prepare the patient for maintaining successful recoveryProvides group therapyProvides caseload management as per state requirementsParticipates in crisis intervention with patients as neededParticipates with multidisciplinary teams such as Financial Case Managers to provide appropriate aftercare planning and securing resourcesCompletes documentation daily to meet metrics of 92% completion within complianceOther Required Tasks:Attend Daily Flash Meetings in the absence of the Clinical Director or Assistant Clinical DirectorMaintains positive relationships with all staffParticipates in multidisciplinary treatment plan reviewsMaintains healthy boundaries with patients and staffAsks for and accepts feedback from supervisorsProvides a safe and therapeutic environment to all staff and patientsCommunicates significant patient developments to supervisorParticipates in Quality Improvement activities and contributes to the success of the organizationPursues professional development through participation in education and training programsContributes positively to the morale of other staff membersPerforms other tasks, as assignedRequirementsEducation:Masters' Degree in social work, psychology, or related human services field requiredCredentials:Licensed in the State of practice (Orgeon) required in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health counselor or other behavioral health related fieldLMHP (Licensed Mental Health Provider)LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor)LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker)LMFT (Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist)CSWA (Clinical Social Work Associate)LPCA (Licensed Professional Counselor Associate)Dually credentialed CADC is a plusCPR and BFA Certification requiredExperience:Minimum one (1) year of work experience in behavioral health field preferredKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Demonstrates Proficiency in Communication & Written skillsKnowledge of State & Federal Statutes Regarding Patient Confidentiality lawsKnowledge of licensing and accreditation standardsDemonstrate proficiency in electronic medical records utilizing HeatherAIProficient in documenting medical standards per ASAM and Locus criteriaThe Company complies with state and federal nondiscrimination laws and policies that prohibit discrimination based on age, color, disability, national origin, race, religion, or sex.
