Hookah Server

Overview: Gotti's is looking for a friendly and sociable part-time Hookah Attendant to join our team. This position offers a pay rate of $13 per hour. As a Hookah Attendant, you will play a key role in creating a unique and enjoyable experience for our guests who come to relax and enjoy hookah. Job Description: The Hookah Attendant is responsible for preparing, maintaining, and serving hookah to guests in accordance with Gotti's standards. This role requires knowledge of various hookah flavors, techniques for setting up and maintaining hookah pipes, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Responsibilities: Hookah Preparation: Prepare hookah pipes with selected flavors, ensuring the proper setup and maintenance of the hookah equipment. Customer Service: Engage with guests in a friendly and sociable manner, recommending flavors, explaining the hookah process, and ensuring guests have a positive experience. Salesmanship: Utilize good sales techniques to encourage guests to try different flavors or upgrade their hookah experience. Maintenance: Regularly clean and maintain hookah equipment to ensure safety and optimal performance. This includes cleaning hoses, bowls, and bases after each use. Monitoring: Keep an eye on the hookah to ensure it is working properly and provide assistance to guests as needed. Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations regarding hookah preparation and service. Requirements: Experience: Must know how to make hookah; training will not be provided. Prior experience in a similar role is preferred. Sales Skills: Must be a good salesperson, able to recommend and upsell products to guests. Personality: Friendly, sociable, and able to engage with guests effectively. Transportation: Must have reliable transportation to and from work. Working Conditions: Environment: The role involves working in a lively and sometimes loud environment where guests come to relax and socialize. Hours: Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. Skills: Customer Service: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner. Technical Knowledge: Understanding of hookah preparation and maintenance. Sales Ability: Capability to upsell and recommend products effectively.
