Senior Software Developer

Responsible for coding, debugging and testing programs using Node.js, JavaScript, Kava, Wily Introscope, Splunk and JAMon; performing automation testing using IBM RFT Automation tool, RTC and RQM; utilize Java and Selenium to perform automation in Integration with Rational Functional Test tool and JavaScript.; code analyzing for Node.js and JavaScript for software application requirement gathering; conduct studies to support the development of new information systems to meet current and projected needs; maintaining code in GitHub and push to Dev/Test Environment as required; working with Jenkins in DevOps environment; uploading data in Cloud Database and maintaining backup; use Windows 7 Operating Systems environment; support quality software development and provide documentation to application development staff and customers with result information obtained from the research and development efforts; implement scale down prototype initiation; incorporating the intelligence for upgrading from an existing version to a later version, with ability to foresee and effectively handle troubleshooting; perform unit testing of the transcripts in Wily Introscope, Splunk, JAMon, HP Load Runner, HP Performance Center, Main frame DB2, and Jmeter environment; develop program specifications for Open Interface and DB2 programs; document problems and appropriate fixes; plan, create, maintain and review Automation scripts; create, review and implement automation and functional test plans and test scenarios; monitor testing tools backend systems performance metrics to ensure optimization; serve as a technical leader within the team and serve as an SME and mentor reviewing non-functional requirements and related documents; create test data; execute SQL queries via IBM DB2; and logging defects and generating test reports Location: Canton, MI and multiple undetermined worksites throughout the US; Minimum Qualifications: Education: Bachelor – Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree); Training: None Experience: Five (5) years in the position above, as a Test Analyst, as a Senior Software Engineer, as a Senior Engineer, as a Software Engineer, or in a related occupation; Other Requirements: Experience must include two (2) years use of Node.js, JavaScript, Kava, Wily Introscope, Splunk and JAMon.
