Sr. Director - VP, Nuclear Operations Strategy & Development
Location: United States (approx. 25% Travel Requirement)Company: NRT GroupPosition SummaryThe Vice President of Nuclear Strategy & Development will lead the strategic growth, commercialization planning, partnership development, and regulatory expansion initiatives for the U.S. subsidiary of Chengdu New Radiomedicine Technology Co., Ltd. This senior leadership role will be required to work closely with the corporate Chief Business Officer, and Chief Medical officer to establish and scale the company’s presence within the U.S. nuclear medicine and radiopharmaceutical market, with a focus on isotope supply chains, theranostics, clinical development partnerships, manufacturing strategy, and long-term business expansion. The ideal candidate combines deep expertise in nuclear medicine, radiopharmaceutical development, and strategic business leadership with a strong understanding of the U.S. regulatory, clinical, and commercial landscape.Key Responsibilities· Develop and execute the U.S. nuclear strategy aligned with global corporate objectives.· Identify growth opportunities in radiopharmaceuticals, isotope production, theranostics, molecular imaging, and related nuclear technologies.· Establish strategic partnerships with hospitals, academic medical centers, cyclotron operators, CDMOs, isotope suppliers, and pharmaceutical companies.· Lead negotiations for licensing agreements, joint ventures, supply agreements, and research collaborations.· Collaborate with regulatory, quality, and clinical teams to support regulatory filings/submissions and quality/compliance activities.· Guide U.S. market access strategies for diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceutical products.· Support establishment of compliant nuclear infrastructure, distribution channels, and manufacturing capabilities within the United States.· Represent the company at industry conferences, scientific meetings, investor engagements, and government forums.Qualifications· Advanced degree in life sciences, engineering, business, or related field; PhD, PharmD, or MBA preferred.· 15+ years of leadership experience in nuclear medicine, radiopharmaceuticals, biotechnology, pharmaceutical development, or related healthcare sectors.· Demonstrated experience in strategic business development and partnership negotiations.· Strong knowledge of the U.S. radiopharmaceutical regulatory and commercial environment.· Experience working with FDA regulatory pathways and nuclear compliance frameworks.· Excellent executive communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.Preferred Experience· Experience with theranostic and radioembolization products, PET/SPECT imaging agents, or targeted radiotherapeutics.· Familiarity with isotope production, cyclotron operations, or radiopharmaceutical manufacturing networks.· Prior experience supporting U.S. expansion for international healthcare or biotechnology companies.· Existing relationships within the U.S. nuclear medicine and radiopharmaceutical industry ecosystem.· Experience with FDA submission preparation for radioembolization products.Compensation & Benefits:· Annual Base Salary: USD $200,000–$260,000 per year (final compensation will be determined based on qualifications, experience, and internal leveling)· Annual Performance Bonus for Full-Time Employees· Fully covered employee medical, dental, and vision insurance plans· Paid Time Off (PTO) and Paid Sick Leave (PSL)· 401(k) retirement plan· On-site lunch · Kitchen and café with complimentary snacks and beverages· Gym access· Team-building activities, etc. NRT MedTech is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
