The technician will perform job duties independently with limited supervision mentor and assist vehicle technicians as needed, complete Commercial Customer asset PMs and Repairs at remote Commercial Customer work sites. Must be equipped with personal hand tools, (removed box tools are stored in Service bed of truck).Perform basic electrical, mechanical diagnostic, and repair of customer vehicles and equipment,including material handling, trailers, and diesel-powered equipmentBasic skills in welding and cutting torch operationBasic Computer knowledgeProfessional and appropriate interaction with internal and external customersTools, equipment, machinery and, or materials usedOperate power, hand, diagnostic tools, and material handling equipmentMust be capable of driving company equipment including class 8 tractorsMust be capable of driving and working out of a mobile shop truckMust be able to work a exible schedule and potentially be able to vary the start and nish times including weekends and holidaysMust be able to stand and walk for shift assigned must be able to work out in the elements at commercial customer work sitesAbility to work remotely at various commercial customer sites without direct supervisionMust be at least 18 years oldHigh school diploma or GEDKnowledge acquired through 3-5 years of relevant work experienceBrake Inspection certificationAbility to obtain DOT Medical CertificateOur diesel/fleet mechanics service external customers as well as Coca-Cola Consolidated fleet equipment.
