Medical Equipment Installer / Field Technician - Box Truck Driver (No CDL Required)

CME Corp is currently hiring Medical Equipment Installers / Delivery Drivers based out of our Warwick, RI warehouse. In this role, you’ll assemble equipment, drive a 26' box truck,and install medical equipment directly inside healthcare facilities.

This role is a great fit for candidates with experience in furniture delivery, construction, installation, moving companies, appliance delivery, or other hands-on mechanical work.
What to Expect Working at CME
Consistent full-time work
Monday–Friday first shift schedule (typically starting at 6:00 AM and end time is determined by workload/operational need. Typically, 8 hour days with overtime opportunities
A mix of equipment assembly, driving, and on-site installation — no two days are the same
Work directly inside hospitals and healthcare facilities across New England

Your Day-to-Day
As part of our Direct-to-Site installation team, you’ll do more than just deliver equipment.
Assemble and stage medical equipment in our Warwick warehouse
Drive a 26-foot box truck to hospitals and healthcare facilities throughout Southern New England
Deliver, install, and position medical equipment such as hospital beds, exam tables, crash carts, IV poles, and similar patient-care equipment inside patient rooms and clinical areas.
Coordinate with logistics and operations teams to ensure deliveries and installations meet project schedules and site readiness requirements
Use hand and power tools to assemble and install equipment safely and correctly
Interact with hospital staff to ensure equipment is ready to use and installed properly by troubleshooting minor installation or setup issues
Occasional overnight travel may be required depending on project location
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check, motor vehicle record check, DOT physical, and drug screening in accordance with company and federal contract requirements
Ability or willingness to learn to drive a 26’ box truck (No CDL required)
Ability to safely lift and move equipment up to 75 pounds and remain active throughout the workday
Comfortable using hand and power tools
A positive attitude with strong customer service and communication skills
Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
Basic computer skills for delivery documentation and communication
Preferred Experience
Experience in installation, construction, carpentry, delivery, or equipment setup
Experience driving a 26’ box truck or similar vehicle
Experience in furniture delivery, moving companies, appliance installation, or other hands-on mechanical work
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to different job sites
