Hardware Engineer

Position OverviewOur leading semiconductor client is seeking an experienced Hardware Engineer 5 to lead the design and development of advanced hardware products and systems. This role owns complex engineering efforts from concept through production and contributes to the technical direction of high-impact initiatives supporting our clients memory and storage technologies.Key ResponsibilitiesLead design, development, and enhancement of complex hardware products, including new product development and improvements to existing designsPerform advanced engineering work across one or more disciplines, such as electronic design, mechanical design, or related hardware fieldsResearch, evaluate, and apply new technologies, processes, and methods to improve product performance, quality, and manufacturabilityDefine and execute testing, validation, and characterization plans to ensure designs meet functional and reliability requirementsDevelop and execute project plans, schedules, budgets, and technical deliverables for complex engineering programsCollaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, product engineering, quality, and program managementProvide technical leadership through design reviews, mentoring, and problem resolutionDocument designs, test results, and engineering changes clearly and thoroughlyQualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (advanced degree preferred)10+ years of experience in hardware design and development, including ownership of complex systems or productsStrong expertise in at least one hardware discipline with the ability to work across multiple technical areasExperience with hardware validation, testing methodologies, and technical documentation
