OverviewAs an Assistant Golf Professional at Big Sky Resort, you are more than a manager; you are a Guide. You are responsible for the day-to-day operation of our facilities, where your ambition for excellence ensures every detail is polished and professional. You will lead your team with a "Serve First" mentality, using your creativity to solve problems and craft personal magic for our members, property owners, and resort guests. In this role, you don't just manage a course-you facilitate enriching and transformative experiences that define the Big Sky brandResponsibilitiesChecking in group and individual play for Big Sky Resort golf course.Assisting guests with all purchases of hard and soft goodsAssist with monitoring course pace of play and behavior on the courseMake sure outside staff is prepared for the day's events and tee timesEnsure that the golf shop is neat in appearance and stocked properlyWork closely with other staff (F&B and Golf) so everyone is aware of what is occurring throughout the dayOpen or close golf shop and ensure that the opening or closing procedures are done properlyWork closely with the Head Professional and tournament coordinators for all outside eventsOversee and coordinate Junior Golf Program100% of revenue from private lesson instruction on a limited basis when time allowsGolf with guests and staffQualificationsPGA member or associate in the PGM program1-year customer service experienceTeaching experience preferredAll full time seasonal employment at Big Sky Resort includes:FREE All Access Bike Haul Pass and Golf PassDiscounted Golf and Mountain Biking for friends and familyF&B/Retail discounts at all Boyne outletsEligibility for affordable team member housing and lodging discounts for friends and familyFREE Basecamp activities including zip line courseMonthly team member events
