Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service while ensuring a seamless dining experience. Our Server will be responsible for taking orders, handling cash and credit transactions, and ensuring that our guests' needs are met throughout their visit. The successful candidate will have a strong passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering an exceptional dining experience. Duties - Greet and seat guests, ensuring that they feel welcome and valued. - Take orders accurately and efficiently, providing recommendations as needed. - Manage cash and credit transactions using an Aloha POS system. - Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including tables, chairs, and floors. - Provide exceptional guest relations, addressing any issues promptly and professionally. - Upsell menu items and promote special deals and promotions to increase sales. - Follow food safety and handling guidelines to ensure that all food is served safely. - Handle cash and credit transactions accurately, balancing cash and credit receipts. - Maintain a thorough knowledge of the restaurant's menu and services. - Work as part of a team to ensure that the restaurant runs smoothly and efficiently. Skills - Experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a restaurant setting. - Strong knowledge of food safety and handling practices. - Basic math skills to handle cash and credit transactions accurately. - Proficiency in using a cash register and handling cash and credit transactions. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tables. - Excellent guest relations skills and a commitment to providing exceptional service. - Ability to upsell menu items and promote special deals and promotions. - Familiarity with an Aloha POS system or similar point-of-sale system. - Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
