Software Engineer (Mid-Senior Level)We are seeking a mid-senior level Software Engineer with a minimum of 6+ years of expertise and a technical Bachelor's degree to join our team in Annapolis Junction, MD.ResponsibilitiesCodes in Java, Python, CSS, JavaScript, SQL as primary languagesAnalyze user requirements and determine design requirementsAbility to debug and troubleshoot softwareDevelop new code to the given requirements to add new features or modify current code baseDevelop solutions through scientific analysisCreate appropriate documentation for a system from user to technical documentationAbility to integrate with other applications through native or custom-built APIsApply secure coding practices into every aspect of developmentAnalyze and develop solutions through performance measurements and collaborate with engineers to improve flows, usage or processesParticipate and/or lead code review to assist with quality control of code and featuresDevelop algorithms to meet the given requirements and meet the system performance needsDevelop and implement test procedures through automated testing frameworksAbility to design and modify software using mathematical models to predict and measure outcomesRequired QualificationsMinimum 6+ years of development experienceBachelor's degree in a technical discipline (ability to substitute 4 years with experience)IAT Level II certification (as mandated by DoD Directive 8140.01 & 8570-01-M)BenefitsWe contribute 6% of your salary towards a 401(k).
