Director, Sales Operations – Gwinnett, GAWe’re hiring a builder.Fortify Plans is a startup health and life insurance brokerage whose mission is to deliver trusted, compliant, and customer‑focused health and life insurance solutions by expertly guiding consumers through short‑term medical, supplemental, ACA, and life insurance options.We’re building a consumer-first, compliance-driven brokerage with a strong investment in training, culture, and agent development.And we’re just getting started.Our Gwinnett office will scale rapidly — from a small founding team to ~50 agents in year oneWe’re looking for a Director, Sales Operations, who wants to help build that growth.This is a player-coach leadership role for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments and enjoys rolling up their sleeves to help build systems, coach agents, and drive performance.What You’ll Do·        Lead day-to-day inside sales operations for health & life insurance.·        Serve as a model producer while coaching agents to improve performance.·        Conduct call reviews and sales coaching sessions.·        Build structured onboarding and training programs for new agents.·        Help develop scalable sales processes, scripts, and playbooks.·        Monitor performance metrics and implement improvements.·        Partner with leadership on hiring strategy and operational growth.·        Ensure strict compliance with CMS regulations and carrier requirements.Products You’ll Support•        Short Term Medical•        Limited Medical and Supplemental Health Products•        ACA Marketplace Plans•        ICHRA•        Medicare Advantage (MA)•        Medicare Part D (PDP)•        Medicare Supplement/Medigap What Success Looks Like·        Increasing agent productivity and close rates.·        Improving conversion rates and cost per acquisition.·        Developing new agents into strong producers.·        Building systems that support scaling to 50+ agents.Who Thrives Here·        This role is ideal for someone who:·        Leads by example and enjoys being hands-on.·        Has experience selling STM, Limited Medical and ACA products.·        Knows how to coach agents using call reviews and data.·        Enjoys building systems in a growing organization.·        Takes ownership and solves problems quickly.·        Gets energized by growth and momentum.Preferred Experience·        Active Health Insurance License·        3+ years selling health insurance products·        5-7 years of experience managing or coaching call center insurance agents·        Strong familiarity with STM, Limited Med, ACA and Medicare environments·        Understanding of CMS compliance requirementsCompensationBase Salary: competitive salary is offered, commensurate with responsibilities and current market standards.Performance Incentives: uncapped sales incentive potential tied to team performanceGrowth OpportunityThis role offers the chance to help build a national brokerage from the ground up.The Gwinnett office is expected to scale to ~50 agents in the first yearStrong leaders in this role will have opportunities to grow into even more senior sales leadership positions as the company expands.Location: Gwinnett, GA (In-Office)If you’re excited about building something from the ground up and leading a high-performance sales team, we’d love to connect.
