Job Description Electronics Assembler – SolderingLocation: Bellefonte, PA (on-site)Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 hours, flexible startAbout the RoleA specialty piezoelectric ceramics manufacturer in Bellefonte is hiring an Electronics Assembler for hands-on soldering and precision assembly work. The company has been manufacturing since 1979 and is the leading producer of specialty piezoelectric elements in North America, with parts going into defense, medical ultrasound, precision actuators, and industrial sensing. What You'll DoPerform lead attachment on piezoelectric ceramic components — the primary day-to-day responsibilitySolder wires, leads, and terminations to small ceramic parts and assembliesPerform potting operations and work with molds and fixturesAssemble small components requiring a high level of manual dexterity and precisionFollow work instructions, drawings, and established proceduresPerform visual inspection of your own work and flag parts that don't meet specMaintain a clean, organized work area and follow all safety requirementsRecord production data and complete basic documentation as requiredWork with production, quality, and engineering to resolve issues on the floor What You NeedHands-on soldering experience, or assembly experience with small precision componentsStrong manual dexterity and steady hands; comfortable working with very small partsAbility to follow detailed written and verbal instructionsAttention to detail and a quality-first mindsetReliable attendance and the ability to work independently after trainingExperience soldering in an electronics, medical device, or defense manufacturing environment Nice to HaveFamiliarity with IPC-A-610 or J-STD-001 soldering standardsExperience with potting, epoxy, or encapsulation processesPrior work in an ISO 9001 certified facilityExperience working with ceramics, sensors, transducers, or other small electronic components
