Payroll Manager (Hybrid)
Payroll ManagerResponsibilitiesThe Payroll Manager will help meet standards for the financial department necessary for growth and will work on tax-related tasks, such as W2 forms, preparing reports and updating policiesFull-cycle processing of payroll accurately and in a timely manner (semi-monthly payroll for 160+ employees)Manage all payroll functions and maintain compliance with applicable policies, contracts, and local, state and federal lawsAnswer inquiries from employees, customers and regulatory agencies to resolve issuesAdhere to best practices and internal control policies and drive process improvements for payrollAnalyze and reconcile reports to identify and resolve discrepanciesCalculate and process manual checks in a timely manner (i.e., termination pay, bonuses, or others as required)Reconcile W-2 forms and ensure accurate and timely filing of all employer compliance forms and returns for all applicable jurisdictionsReconcile payroll related general ledger accountsPrepare journal entries and accrualsPrepare semi-monthly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports as neededSet up wage garnishments, terminations, and new hiresPrepare other reconciliations and journal entries as assignedOther duties as assigned or requestedRequirementsADP Workforce Now experience required3 days in the office requiredHigh degree of accuracy and attention to detailKnowledge of relevant payroll related standards, codes, GAAP, regulations and other related requirementsStrong systems and data flow knowledge; ability to learn and adapt to new software and processesExcellent communications and interpersonal skills; ability to build solid relationships and establish credibility across all levels of the organization must be a team playerProficient in Microsoft Office programs (e.g., Excel)Ability to effectively coordinate multiple projects, use time management skills and exercise independent judgmentSelf motivated, quick learner and detailed orientedAbility to multi-taskBenefitsMEDICALDENTALLIFEVISION401K
