The Design Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop innovative, cost-effective, and high-quality engineering solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and products using CAD software.Create detailed 2D drawings and 3D models based on engineering specifications.Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and production teams to optimize product designs.Perform engineering calculations, tolerance analysis, and design validation.Support prototype development, testing, and product improvements.Prepare engineering documentation, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and technical reports.Ensure designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and customer requirements.Participate in design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.Required SkillsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.0–3 years of experience in mechanical or product design.Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo, or CATIABasic knowledge of GD&T, manufacturing processes, and engineering drawings.Understanding of materials, machining, and fabrication techniques.es.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.Preferred SkillsExperience with FEA or simulation to ols.Familiarity with product lifecycle management (PLM) systems.Internship or project experience in product development or manufacturing.Email your updated resume to: pravalika.b@maximatek.com
