Jackson HealthPros is hiring a Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist (formerly Medical Technologist) to perform diagnostic testing on patient samples and analyze test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits to aid physicians in the diagnosis or monitoring of various disease states.Minimum Requirements:Associate or bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field as required by client.ASCP (MLS) certification required. MLT certification acceptable if applicable to scope of practice and client requirements.BLS certification required.Minimum 2 years of microbiology experience required. Experience reading culture plates is required.High-volume hospital laboratory experience required.Sunquest LIS experience required.Experience with common laboratory instrumentation preferred: Roche PRO (chemistry), Sysmex XN (hematology), Siemens UN3000 (urinalysis), Stago Compact Max (coagulation).Two- or four-year degree required.
