London, KY personal injury law firm seeking a full time Paralegal/Legal Secretary. Duties will include communication with clients, insurance companies and other attorneys, setting up new personal injury claims, requesting medical records and bills, preparing demand packages and assisting in negotiation support. Duties will also include assisting attorneys in the preparation of legal documents, coordinating the scheduling of meetings and depositions and filing legal documents. Good typing and proofreading skills required and the ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality. Assisting in preparation for various types of trials will be required and attending trials and hearings will be required from time to time. Attention to detail and the ability to multitask is required. Good organizational skills is a must The ideal candidate will be able to maintain a professional demeanor in handling the various tasks assigned. Pay will be competitive based upon experience level.
