2nd Shift - Manufacturing Assembly

Job Summary:The CVT Assembler will be responsible for assembling Sun Hydraulics' high-performance cartridge valves through documented assembly procedures ensuring that build meets engineering specification.Duties/Responsibilities:Perform assembly on cartridge valves working with very small partsPerforming repetitive assembly tasks on order quantities from 50-200+Ensuring process procedures are followed to maintain high quality of production while meeting work area quotasDeveloping knowledge of Sun product lines while learning to read blueprints and schematicsHousekeeping of assembly area such as sweeping and vacuuming area before the next shiftCommunicating progress of incomplete work orders and issues to next shiftRequired Skills/Abilities:Willingness to learn and grow through Sun HydraulicsAbility to function in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentAbility to follow directionsAbility to read drawings and blueprints is a plusExcellent attention to detailTeam player mentalityPositive attitudeEducation and Experience:* High school diploma or equivalent is preferred* Manufacturing experience is a plusPhysical Requirements:* Prolonged periods of standing (6-8 hours)* Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
