DescriptionDepartment: Food & BeverageReports to: Food & Beverage ManagersStatus: Seasonal | Non-Exempt | Hourly $18.00Position SummaryThe Food Runner supports the service team by ensuring food is delivered quickly, accurately, and presented to club standards. This role acts as the link between the kitchen and front-of-house team, helping maintain smooth service flow and a great member dining experience.Key ResponsibilitiesOrder Accuracy & TimingEnsure orders are prepared and delivered promptly and in the correct priorityMatch food items to tickets and confirm accuracy before leaving the kitchenCheck dishes for presentation and quality standardsLabel and organize all to-go orders, confirming accuracy and completenessExpo Line SupportManage order flow between the kitchen and service teamServe as the communication point between cooks and serversInform staff of menu updates and 86'd itemsAdd final touches to plates (garnishes, wipe edges, quality check)Keep the expo line stocked, clean, and organized throughout the shiftFood DeliveryCarry and deliver food to tables using traysFollow correct seat positions and table numbersProvide prompt, professional service when interacting with members and guestsSetup & Team SupportAssist with buffet and special event setup/breakdownMaintain cleanliness of work areas before, during, and after shiftsComplete nightly side workJump in to support teammates as neededService StandardsAttend pre-shift lineupsFollow food safety, sanitation, and quality standardsReport issues or delays to managementProvide attentive and courteous service to all members and guestsRequirementsPositive, team-oriented attitudeStrong attention to detail and accuracyAble to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentClear communication skillsReliable and punctualWilling to learn menus and service standardsPhysical & Work RequirementsStand and walk for extended periodsCarry trays and lift up to 25 lbs. occasionallyWork indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditionsWork evenings, weekends, and holidays as neededWork safely around hot surfaces, wet floors, and kitchen equipmentNote: This job description outlines the primary responsibilities of the role but is not intended to be all-inclusive.
