Unpaid Internship/Practicum Laredo - Prevention & Counseling

OBJECTIVEA practicum student or intern responsibilities include completing tasks assigned to them in support of the AAMA Prevention and Counseling's high standards and values. In addition to assigned tasks, the volunteer is expected to demonstrate professionalism, arrive on time, and follow instructions.Some of a the duties might involve assisting with clients, preparing materials, assisting with recordkeeping, facilitating group, cousneling sessions, and working jointly with trained personnel.When interns or students are on duty, their dress should conform to the Prevention and Counseling Center's dress code.IMPORTANT GUIDELINESAll interns and practiucm students will be required to complete a Background Check and Drug Test, as well as required training.Interns and practicum students will be required to check in and out at the front desk of the Prevention and Counseling Center.
