In this role, you will transport packages and materials throughout the facility. This position requires a dedication to safety and careful driving practices. Ultimately, the goal of this position is to maximize efficiency by ensuring that materials and products are always in the right location at the right time. The ideal candidate has a proven track record as a Forklift Operator and an excellent safety record.ResponsibilitiesUnload products from incoming trucks and relocate them to the appropriate placesMove pallets and crates from one location to anotherMonitor products for damages, shortages, or quality control issues and report on those issuesPerform regular inspections and maintenance of machinery to ensure optimal operationMaintain accurate inventory records and activity logsAdhere to all health and safety regulations, legal guidelines, and company policiesAssist in maintaining a safe and organized work environmentQualificationsPrevious experience as a Forklift Operator is preferredValid forklift certificationHigh school diploma/GEDFamiliarity with and ability to use industrial equipmentStrong attention to detailAbility to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy objectsExcellent hand-eye coordination
