Junior Graphics Specialist

Position SummaryGreiner is seeking a Junior Graphics Specialist who has recently graduated and is ready to join full-time. This role is responsible for executing and managing customer artwork through prepress, approval, and print production.We are looking for someone with strong Graphics skills, attention to detail, and a desire to bring fresh thinking, new tools (including AI), and process improvements into the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and convert customer artwork into accurate, print-ready files using proper prepress techniquesManage artwork projects end-to-end: from receipt through approvals, press setup, and final productionPrioritize and schedule work to meet customer timelines and production capacity (target: ~2-week turnaround)Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and print vendors to ensure design accuracy and feasibilityCommunicate with plate manufacturers and print specialists on technical requirements and limitationsSupport printing media ordering/manufacturing and initial press approvalsSecure customer approvals and manage graphics budget & revenue for accountsMaintain and update artwork records, print controls, and tracking systems (Access/SAP)Manage printed samples, color standards, and consistency across print formatsEnsure adherence to prepress standards, quality procedures, and print accuracySupport graphics invoicing and project documentationContribute to improving artwork tracking, workflows, and use of new/AI toolsMaintain compliance with safety, GMP, and food safety requirementsKeep work areas organized and aligned with housekeeping standardsQualificationsRequiredBachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering, Graphic Design or related fieldBasic understanding of SAP or similar ERP systems.Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop & Adobe IllustratorStrong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projectsEffective communication and teamwork skillsBasic Microsoft Office skillsPreferredExposure to print, packaging, or prepress processesFamiliarity with printing technologies (offset, direct print, etc.)Interest in digital solutions and improving design workflowsExperience organizing or tracking creative projects
