Traveling ultrasound tech / sonographer
Join the team as an Ultrasound Technologist (Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) where you will operate specialized ultrasound equipment to produce images used by physicians to diagnose and treat medical conditions. You will work in a hospital environment supporting emergency department, inpatient, and outpatient imaging needs.Minimum Requirements:National certification in a sonography specialty from ARDMS or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (preferred: ARRT where applicable).Minimum 2 years of ultrasound experience in a hospital setting with scanning experience in Emergency Department (ED), inpatient (IP), and outpatient (OP) environments. This is a client requirement.BLS certification (American Heart Association only). This is a client requirement.ARRT certification required. This is a client requirement.Experience using Epic or similar EMR systems preferred.Preferred: prior experience in a critical access hospital or small community hospital setting.Assignment DetailsFacility type: Hospital, 25-bed critical access facility.Shift name: Days.Shift hours: Rotating days. Week 1: Monday–Wednesday 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM; Week 2: Thursday–Saturday 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM.Weekend requirements: Every other Saturday.Weekly guaranteed hours: 36.On-call requirements: None.Location HighlightsWoodstock, VA offers outdoor recreation and historic downtown charm within easy drives to regional parks and scenic areas.
