Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: Alamogordo, NM Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,092 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 6/15/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Medical-Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: RN License in state or compact Certifications: BLS required (AHA only) Must-Have: Recent orthopedic experience Description: The competent nurse in a similar clinical setting practices independently. Demonstrates awareness of all relevant aspects of a situation. Provides routine and complex care. Has the ability to focus on long-range goals or plans. Continues to develop the ability to cope with and manage contingencies of clinical nursing. Makes appropriate assignments and delegates to other care providers to help manage clinical situations. Responsibilities include: Meeting expectations of the applicable competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders. Consistent with the ANAs Scope and Standards of Practice, provides nursing care utilizing the nursing process. Conducts assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients. Addresses increasingly complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families in accordance with their level of practice. Using the appropriate protocol, administers medications and treatments. Monitors for side effects and effectiveness of prescribed treatments. Documents patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given. Assesses learning needs and provides education to patients, family members, and/or caregivers. Identifies issues and resources.
