Based in South Louisiana, DDI offers clearing, access, site preparation, logistics, and storm response services throughout North America.General Laborer:The General Construction Laborer works independently as well as part of a team in various aspects of construction. This full-time position has opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.Key Responsibilities:Assist in various construction tasks such as digging, lifting, carrying materialsFollow safety procedures and maintain a safe working environmentLoad and unload materials and suppliesAssist in demolitionMaintain cleanliness of job siteCommunicate effectively with team members and supervisorsFollow project plans and instructions from supervisorsPerform other duties as assignedAny additional tasks or projects assigned by their supervisorRequirements Required Skills and Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentAt least 2 years of experience in constructionAbility to read and understand project plans and instructionsKnowledge of various construction tools and equipmentPhysically fit and able to lift heavy objectsStrong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication and teamwork skillsWillingness to learn and take on new challengesSuccessful candidates must complete a drug screening and background check prior to employment
