Strategy + Planning Consultant
Pregame is a consulting and coaching firm that shows innovators how to make their vision a reality. Through strategic planning, executive coaching, team training, and communications strategy, we guide our clients through creating a customized game plan for achieving their goals. Our clients are experienced entrepreneurs, executives, nonprofit and government leaders, and creative professionals. Our Strategy + Planning Consultant will be the primary facilitator of our strategic planning services. You’re a strategist and generalist with diverse experience. You’re able to prioritize, recognizing what needs to happen now while thinking ahead about what should happen next. You thrive in a small business environment with a tight team and lots of moving parts. You have a track record of proactively growing your professional and interpersonal skills. Your presence inspires confidence and you can effectively represent our brand with clients and in the community at large.
Primary Responsibilities
Become an expert in the Pregame approach, methodology, and frameworks, with the ability to customize it for each client’s needs
Design strategic planning projects in collaboration with the CEO, project manager, and consultants
Drive project timelines and processes, ensuring projects are on time and under budget
Lead strategic planning events including client retreats, workshops, and live planning sessions
Maintain highly positive relationships with clients, driving retention and additional services
Collaborate on business growth through client retention, acquisition, and efficient internal systems
Manage consultants and facilitators by project
Train consultants on Pregame method and planning tools
Must be available for occasional evening and weekend client sessions on location
Your Skills and Experience
5+ years of advisory experience with a variety of at least two of our three types of clients: small business, nonprofit, and/or government organizations
Experience replicating results across multiple types of clients
3+ years of experience managing contractors and employees
Experience working with a variety of small organizations across sectors (2-50 employees)
Able to quickly unpack complex information and translate it to “explain it like I’m 5” language
Excellent presentation skills with the ability to quickly build rapport and energize a group
Meticulous about tracking actions and deadlines in project management software
Fluent in G Suite: Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Slides
Fluent in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Able to quickly learn and adopt new software

Ability to be a neutral party and work through information objectively
Proactive problem solver who can quickly formulate and execute a plan B
Comfortable working autonomously and independently
Excellent verbal and written communicator with spelling and grammar always on point
Team player with a willingness to get your hands dirty and help others be successful
