Job Title Project/Program Manager IT 5Request #38751-1 -Location: IL-Peoria- 100% remoteDuration: 12 MonthsTechnical Skills(Required)8-10 years' experience Program and Project ManagementAgile and understanding of DevOps.Advanced levels of knowledge and use of MS office products.Soft Skills(Required)Heavy attention to detailExcellent communication skillsTroubleshooting complex situationsSelf-starter and takes initiative.Position's Contributions to Work Group:- Program Manager responsibilities:managing department project management work with multiple business partners and Cat Digital sponsors to lead the creation of the program structure, define project charters/scopeinitial project management planning sessions for complex projectsresponsible for program execution, program's risks and financials.communicate program status to stakeholders as well as mentor project managers on methodology, escalation, risk mitigation, and issue resolution.understand and explain all program costsestablish capital projects; RFI and Monthly reportingreview and report on financial statusMaintain division scorecardTimesheet setup and reminderscoordinate management of multiple related projects directed toward strategic business and organizational objectives partner with BU Partner for delivery of business outcomeensure strategic alignment of all project work to an approved programdrive program's success and BU Partner and Sponsor satisfaction through program leadership and accountabilityassist project sponsors to define, track and initiate projects aligned to programsresolve conflicts and manage program risks and escalate as appropriateadhere to a standard methodology and quality processesmentor project managersWell documented program scope documents highlighting deliverables and value creationRegular stakeholder meetings to set realistic expectationsWell managed issue escalationsPrograms managed to approved planUpdated deployment glide-paths, value creation and interdependenciesClosing document indicating stakeholder's satisfaction and the extent to which deliverables were accomplishedTypical task breakdown:- Program management around the commerce and enterprise search initiatives.Interaction with team:- Commerce : multiple integrations, working alongside the business team and software engineer teams and vendor.Work environment:- WFH: 75% teams meetings and 25% action itemsCandidate RequirementsEducation & Experience Required:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Information technology with 10+ years expMaster's degree needs a minimum of 8+ yearsAssociates degree with a minimum of 15+ years' experience and PMP CertificationPMP Certification is required for all levels.Disqualifiers/Red Flags:Choppy job tenure (each role must be at least 12 months or longer)If candidate cannot start immediately, please do not submit.Interview Process:- 1 round via teams ( with Work Director: 1 hour)
