Prepare comprehensive financial reports and performance dashboards for manufacturing plants and operational management. Evaluate capital expenditure requests for new machinery, equipment, and facility upgrades, calculating ROI and payback periods. Analyze product line profitability and support pricing strategies by assessing cost structures and market dynamics. Monitor and analyze inventory levels, valuation, and obsolescence, identifying opportunities for optimization. Identify and recommend cost reduction initiatives and efficiency improvements within production processes. Recommended QualificationsStrong understanding of cost accounting principles and their application in manufacturing. Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for data extraction and analysis. Demonstrated experience in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and complex formulas. Ability to analyze operational data and connect it to financial performance in a manufacturing context. Bonus QualificationsExperience with major ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) in a manufacturing context. Proficiency in data visualization and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). Strong understanding or hands-on experience with advanced cost accounting principles specific to manufacturing. Exposure to Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
