Senior Backend .Net Developer

Role: Senior Backend .Net DeveloperLocation: Newark, NJ (Hybrid) Duration: 6 monthsNote: Only W2 (No visa sponsorship will be provided and no C2C)Job Details: Responsibilities:• Develop and maintain backend services using C#, .NET Core, and ASP.NET Core• Build and support RESTful APIs and microservices• Deploy, configure, and optimize applications on AWS EC2• Work with AWS services including S3, RDS, CloudWatch, IAM, and load balancers• Collaborate with front end developers using React for integration and feature delivery• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical planning• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across the application stack• Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, and performance requirements common in financial systems• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automation effortsRequired Skills:senior Backend .Net Developer (10+ years of experience)• Senior level experience with C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core• Strong understanding of backend architecture and design patterns• Hands on experience deploying and managing applications on AWS EC2• Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.)• Proficiency with Entity Framework Core• Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD workflows• Strong debugging, performance tuning, and problem-solving skillsPreferred Skills:• Experience in finance or financial services environments• Basic to intermediate knowledge of React• Experience with AWS ECS, EKS, or Lambda• Exposure to infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)• Experience with event driven architecture (SNS, SQS, Kafka)• Background in automated testing frameworksWork Environment / Additional Notes:• Backend focused role; React knowledge is helpful but not required• Experience with secure, regulated environments (finance) is a plus• Collaboration with cross functional engineering teams
