This role involves working closely with project managers, construction teams, and stakeholders to ensure successful execution of complex engineering and construction projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical, analytical, and coordination skills, along with experience in industrial or power generation projects.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Execution & Field SupportProvide on-site support (5 days/week minimum) for project executionAssist construction management teams with daily field operationsMonitor construction progress to ensure compliance with engineering plans, specifications, and safety standardsAnalyze project drawings, technical specifications, and quality requirementsContract & Cost ManagementEnsure contract compliance for scope, cost, schedule, and qualityMonitor contractor performance and track project milestonesMaintain and update project schedules in coordination with project managersTrack, analyze, and report project costs, income, and productivity metricsReview and approve invoices and progress billingsProject Coordination & DocumentationPrepare and maintain project reports, schedules, and documentationSupport preparation of RFIs (Requests for Information) and NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports)Maintain organized project files and correspondencePrepare meeting agendas, minutes, and action logsAssist in executive reporting and project presentationsQuality & ComplianceDevelop and implement quality control proceduresEnsure compliance with contract requirements and safety standardsConduct audits and monitor quality performanceCoordinate corrective actions for non-compliance issuesAct as liaison between stakeholders on quality-related mattersPlanning & Support ActivitiesAssist in procurement, logistics, and material trackingSupport project scheduling and forecasting activitiesAssist Project Manager with change orders, claims, and commercial activitiesSupport cost control and budget management effortsParticipate in problem-solving and issue resolutionQualificationsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred)3 5+ years of experience in construction, engineering, or project managementExperience working on large, complex projectsKnowledge of multiple disciplines (civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, etc.)Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contract documentsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work independently and within a team environmentStrong attention to detail and work ethicProficiency in Microsoft Office SuitePreferred QualificationsExperience in power generation projects (combined cycle or simple cycle plants)Experience in heavy industrial constructionGeneral contracting experienceWork EnvironmentActive construction jobsite (project duration 2+ years)Requires on-site presence and flexibility in working hours based on project needsWork Location: Wheatfield, INRate: $36-$71hr depending on experiencePlease click on the link below for our company benefitsDTI is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
