Digital Payment Processing Architect

We are seeking an experienced Digital Payment Processing Architect to design and deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance payment solutions. This role will focus on building end-to-end payment architectures, integrating modern payment technologies, and ensuring compliance with global security and regulatory standards.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and design robust digital payment solutionsArchitect end-to-end payment systems, including card payments, mobile wallets, and emerging payment technologies.Design and implement secure, scalable, and high-availability payment architecturesEvaluate and integrate payment platforms, APIs, gateways, and third-party servicesDesign seamless payment flows across web, mobile, and omnichannel platformsEnsure compliance with PCI DSS, SOX, SOC2/3, CSA, HIPAA, ISO 27001, and other regulatory standards.Implement strong security measures, including encryption, fraud detection, and data protection.Optimize transaction processing performance, including speed, latency, and reliability.Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues proactivelyCollaborate with developers, product teams, and business stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture designs, test plans, and reports.Ensure adherence to organizational standards, policies, and best practicesRequired Skills & Qualifications5+ years of experience in payment application development and architecture (8+ preferred).Strong expertise in digital payment systems, payment gateways, and transaction processingExperience designing secure and scalable payment architecturesStrong understanding of payment security standards and compliance frameworksExperience integrating APIs, third-party services, and financial systemsAbility to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholdersBachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).Preferred SkillsExperience with enterprise systems such as SAPKnowledge of ITIL / ITSM practices and methodologiesFamiliarity with emerging fintech trends and technologiesCore SkillsAPI integrations & third-party servicesSecurity & compliance (PCI DSS, ISO, etc.)Performance optimization & scalabilityCross-functional collaborationSoft SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsLeadership and mentoring capabilitiesDetail-oriented with strong organizational skillsJ-18808-Ljbffr
