Automation Engineer

The ideal Automation Engineer candidate will be local to the DMV, will support hyper growth, and isn't a traditional software developer. They're writing software that controls physical laboratory/manufacturing equipment, with PLCs, robots, motors, sensors, machine vision, etc. ResponsibilitiesWrite software controlling manufacturing/R&D equipment, industrial robots, motors, controllers, sensors, PLCs, C#/C++/Java, and hardware/software integration. Responsible for the design and programming of high-performance automation systemsThe position works closely with cross-functional teams—including R&D, Manufacturing, and Quality Assurance to support new product developmentQualificationsBachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or other related science or engineering discipline preferredA minimum of three years of experience in automation equipment software design preferredPrior experience with industrial robots, motors, controllers, and/or digital and analog sensors is preferred3 Years of OOP (C#, Java, C++, etc) or 3 Years of PLC Programming
